Fletcher D. Tallman was born in 1867 in Rensselaerville. He lived his entire life in the area.

Transcribers Note: In 1887, Fletcher was 35 years old and living in Rensselaerville near Medusa.

Note: This Diary only has a few entries for 1903.

  • Sat. Mar 8 1903 – Rainy. Done Chores. OLY and ELMER VINCENT came up we made cider the rest of the day for myself, out of frozen apples. 6 hrs. OMAR was here to supper.
  • Sun. Mar 29 – Pleasant. Done Chores. PA went up to HARRY LEE’s funeral. CHAS. came up – I helped him take his cows down home – went over to OMAR’s – come home done chores and went up to ANDIE’s.
  • Mon. Mar 30 – Cloudy. Done Chores. PA went over to Preston Hollow to get his Horses shed.
