Brunk, Nicholas

Nicholas Brunk was born in the Mohawk Valley, of Holland ancestry and was a descendant from one of five brothers who migrated from Holland and settled along the Mohawk River as pioneers.[1] Nicholas was born in 1780.[2]


He was a farmer. Nicholas settled in the town of Knox, where he cleared him a farm and made him a home on 130 acres of land.[1]

Marriage & Children

Nicholas married Elizabeth Miller[1] at about 1800.
Their children:


Nicholas died on December 27, 1842, age 62 and his wife, Elizabeth Miller died on May 2, 1865 age 80. Both were buried on the Old Brunk farm.[2]
